We are proud to introduce the PRG – HeatCover, a premium in-house product developed and manufactured entirely in Austria. This robust and stable component, manufactured from a single piece of stainless steel, stands out not only through its distinctive design but also through its technically refined and field-proven geometry.
Produced using advanced metal 3D printing and finished with a corundum-blasted surface, the PRG HeatCover combines modern manufacturing technology with functional performance. Extensive simulation and practical testing have resulted in a unique geometry that enhances both the visual appearance of your rifle and its mechanical behavior during firing.
A key advantage of the PRG HeatCover is the significant increase in chassis stability and the associated reduction in unwanted vibrations. By carefully balancing lightweight construction with the required structural rigidity, we achieved a design that delivers measurable performance benefits without unnecessary mass. Special attention was paid to maintaining the center of gravity below the barrel axis, which helps prevent twisting, canting, or distortion during the shot. This contributes directly to improved consistency and control.
From a structural standpoint, manufacturing the HeatCover from a single solid piece was a deliberate design decision. Multi-part assemblies are inherently less stable, more prone to tolerance issues, and often more expensive—an approach commonly seen in competing products. Our one-piece design ensures maximum rigidity, durability, and long-term reliability under demanding conditions.
The PRG HeatCover also offers a high degree of personalization. On both sides of the design, we intentionally created flat, unobstructed surfaces that can be customized with your name or team designation. This allows you to personalize your rifle and ensures instant recognition in photos or at competitions. Since our components are not coated, these surfaces can be marked using various methods, including laser engraving or conventional engraving techniques. The markings remain durable and clearly visible over time—something we can guarantee thanks to the use of premium materials that require no coatings or post-treatment.
All components are manufactured from fully corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The PRG HeatCover can be easily cleaned using an ultrasonic bath or standard commercially available cleaning agents, ensuring effortless maintenance and long service life.
Our HeatCover is specifically designed for the MDT ACC Elite chassis and can be installed without any rework or modification.
